Intermediate Level Quantity Surveyor – Dublin (full time)
Description
Due to our continued development and expansion in the Dublin area we have additional requirements in our quantity surveying department for suitably skilled Quantity Surveyors.
We are currently recruiting for experienced intermediate level Quantity Surveyors. The successful candidates will join a strong surveying team based in the Dublin area and will be working on a variety of retail, commercial and industrial / pharma projects.
Applicants should be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying and will have at least 3 years continuous experience within a medium to large main contractor / general contracting company undertaking a mixed array of projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong measurement, subcontractor procurement and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Abilities to work well with Customers, design team members and site based work colleagues and to build strong working relationships
- Experience in cost control and valuation preparation
- Good communication, presentation and writing skills
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent IT skills and have working knowledge of AutoCAD, excel, word and PowerPoint
