Job Summary
Vision Contracting is seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates to strengthen and enhance our estimating and pre –construction function. Actively working to enhance the quality of our tender submissions and support the preconstruction team throughout the tender process.

Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines. Self-starter, capable of working on your own initiative and have strong creative skills with good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Preparation of company specific technical submission documentation / presentation material.
• Manage tender and prequalification submissions and collation of supporting documentation.
• Monitor the various tender portals (eTenders etc) and communicate all details with the pre-construction team.
• Coordinate tender deadlines and keep the tender register up to date.
• Prepare and send out subcontract and suppliers enquiries to supply chain and review quotations received.
• Analyse bid requirements and shape submission proposals to maximize scoring and bid success.
• Continually manage and update the tender library, generating new documentation for submissions.
• Ability to collaborate well with others and to work well under deadline pressure is essential.
• Standardising of company specific marketing collateral and the creation of a pre-qualification document library which will require regular updating.
• A strategic and hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of bid requests to deliver a seamless experience for all.
• Manage the format and layout of the response documents.
• Assist in the improvement of bid processes and associated best practices.
• File tender documentation in accordance with the company procedure.

Required Experience and Skills:
• Effective communication style (both written and verbal), with strong interpersonal skills.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience, ideally within Construction Industry.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office package.
• Proficient presentation and written skills with some exposure to proposal writing.
• Monitor and communicate deadlines with pre-construction team.
• Preparing bid submissions and power point presentations.
• Manage each pre-qual and tender in its entirety, ensuring all documentation and clarifications are distributed to the estimating team.
• Ability to collaborate well with others and to work well under deadline pressure is essential.
• Provide post-tender analysis and reporting.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
