Annual Cork Simon Golf Classic raises over €20,000 for local services

As the main sponsor of this year’s Annual Cork Simon Golf Classic at Monkstown Golf Course on 26 May last, Vision Contracting would like to acknowledge the generosity of the Cork business community and all those who contributed to the event, which so far has raised over €20,000. While this sum will go a small way towards helping support men and women experiencing homelessness in Cork, the organising committee has once again done a spectacular job in maximising the amount raised for Cork Simon while also putting together an excellent day out.

This is Vision Contracting’s second year as the main sponsor of the Cork Simon Golf Classic. Speaking about the event, Mick Allen, Director and Head of Construction, Vision Contracting, commented: “The event was once again organised with precision, principally by Arup together with Cork Simon. The organising committee has shown great commitment and dedication to the cause. The day was most enjoyable, particularly with Covid-19 restrictions lifted this year. I would also like to thank Kerry Mac Mahon Head of Partnerships at Cork Simon Community for her help.”
