We were appointed Main Contractor and PSCS to execute the renovation of the ground floor of Building 8 including the construction of a new laboratory. The work involved the demolition of the existing internal partitions and removal of all floor finishes in preparation for the new building works. The existing Mechanical and Electrical services had to be updated and new M&E services installed in the Laboratory area.
New glazed partitions were installed along with new joinery and the entire floor redecorated. The office space was carpeted and vinyl flooring with coved skirting installed in the Lab area, new office and laboratory furniture was also installed.

• Works were carried out in the ground floor while two different businesses were operating from the ground floor
• Structural openings had to be formed in the upper floor to allow extract pipework access the roof
• Existing services had to be diverted whilst not impacting on the other building users
