Construction of a new standalone KFC Restaurant & drive thru in the heart of Douglas Village within the boundary of Douglas Village Shopping Centre. The scope included modifications to the Shopping Centre carpark
& main entrance. The structural frame combined structural steel portals with traditional masonry. External elevations include a mix of Wicona Structural glazed curtain walling, cedar cladding and Trespa rain screen.
Landscaping included Kilsaran granite textured paving to the surrounds within the KFC demise

• Working within a live Shopping centre environment operating on a 7 day week basis.
• Significant co-ordination of structural steel frame due to the unique details & component parts that made up the facades.
• Engineering works on diversion of existing service prior to construction without hindering the busy Shopping Centre.
