My experience with Vision Contracting has been both deeply rewarding and pivotal to my professional development. After graduating with a BSc in Construction Management in May 2022, I began my career as a graduate engineer on a residential project, which involved delivering 77 high-end apartments. Through guidance from directors and collaboration with site engineers, quantity surveyors, and site management, I quickly recognised the opportunities for personal and career growth within the company.
Due to my willingness to learn and hard work, I was soon promoted to Project Engineer while simultaneously pursuing an MSc in Project Management. During this time, I had the privilege of working on a hotel project, which significantly broadened my experience, allowing me to engage in direct communication with clients, the design team, suppliers, and subcontractors. This role not only expanded my technical knowledge but also helped me build a robust professional network across the construction industry in Ireland and abroad.
After completing my MSc, I was promoted to Project Manager, where I now oversee multiple projects. Each one presents unique challenges, but the processes and teamwork remain constant. Vision Contracting has been instrumental in shaping my career, and I’m excited for the future, knowing that I have the company’s support and a clear path for continued growth.”
