Our project works involved extensive surveying of the existing structure in order to allow the Design Team to quantify the fire proofing omissions.
All Bedroom corridors & Riser shafts were fireproofed retrospectively over five floors. This included the removal of various services in order to get adequate access, together with reinstatement & commissioning on completion. Fire rated doors, ironmongery & glazed panels were installed in place of non-fire rated products.

• All of the works were carried out without obstructing Hotel Customers & Staff.
• Work areas were pre-agreed so that Hotel reservations were fully aware of work areas.
• All bedrooms remained in use throughout the works.
• All fire proofing installations were surveyed, photographed & signed off on a weekly basis by MSA Fire Consultants.
